"Dana" Lampwork Set

I've been working on some custom sets lately. This is a set I made for my cousin's 30th birthday. I've used 64 Swarovski bicone crystals in all because I wanted it to sparkle, as the spirit of my cousin does.

The focal was created by Minnesota lampwork artist Susan Jones. The blue in the focal is covered with silver leaf, combined with rich tones of ivory and woodland brown. I've used two sizes of Swarovski bicones in shades of smoked and light topaz throughout the set that give these pieces lots of shine.

The earrings and bracelet feature silvered ivory lampwork beads that have drips of fine silver on them. They have a beautiful, antiqued look that blends well with the ivory of the focal.

There's lots of movement and sparkle in the earrings which will make them fun to wear!

This is truly a one-of-a-kind set for a very special lady.

Happy Birthday Dana!

"Mary Christina" Bracelet (NOT FOR SALE)

This is a very special bracelet that might join the ranks of pieces I can't give up.
I've had these cloisonne beads in my collection for a couple of years now and tonight they just jumped out at me. As I was making the bracelet, I was thinking of my grandmother because she loved the colour purple, so I named it "Mary Christina" for her. While I was taking pictures for this blog, I realized today is my grandmother's anniversary........
"Mary Christina" is a dazzler. Made up of nine cloisonne diamond-shaped and round beads, 46 Swarovski bicone crystals in clear and amethyst, this bracelet is warm and lovely....... just the way I remember my grandmother.

"Emerald Isle" Bracelet - $48.

These bracelets are so much fun to wear! Here are two views of "Emerald Isle" which show the bracelet flat and how it looks dangling on the wrist. Very lightweight and lots of shine, these bracelets come in all colours of vintage lucite and Swarovski crystals.

"Mardi Gras" Earrings - $18. (SOLD)

These polymer clay beads remind me of Mardi Gras! Accented with Swarovski crystals on top and a sterling silver spiral underneath, these earrings are bursting with colour!
The polymer clay beads were made by Israeli bead artist Elena Bucharska.

"Crystal Clusters" Earrings - $18.

Here are "Crystal Clusters" for women who like shorter earrings. They still give you all the sparkle and some movement that the longer dangles are known for, without the length.
I make these in all colours and change things up by using bigger jumprings or different kinds of sterling silver chain.

"Crystal Clusters" Earrings - $28.

Another pair of "Crystal Clusters" - these are a medium length and on sterling silver chain link.

"Crystal Clusters" Earrings - $28.

I call this series of earrings "Crystal Clusters". Eight Swarovski crystals hang on each long, slim strand of sterling silver, creating a cluster effect. Lots of motion in these earrings! They are lightweight, elegant and beautiful! (And they come in all colours.)

"Swinging Crystal" Earrings - $40.

I love these earrings! Made up of 26 Swarovski crystals, these dangles will hang lightly from your ears, giving you plenty of sparkle. They are very feminine and romantic, and come in all colours.

"Evening Glory" Bracelet and Earrings - $60. + $18. (SOLD)

I make matching earrings for all my bracelets and necklaces and here's a pair to go with my "Evening Glory" bracelet. Polymer clay rounds and accenting Swarovski crystal bicones are all wrapped up in sterling silver to make this a classic, elegant set.

The polymer clay beads were made by Israeli bead artist Elena Bucharska.

"Burst of Blossoms" Bracelet - $60.

This is my favourite bracelet to make (and I've been making lots of them!)

Gorgeous ploymer clay oval nuggets, 30 bicone Swarovski crystals and lots of sterling silver make this bracelet something very special.

Another fun bracelet made from polymer clay pillow beads and loaded with accenting shades of Swarovski crystals.

"Sea Glass" Necklace - $45. (SOLD)

This choker length necklace was inspired by a collection of glass bottles at the beach house where we stayed last summer. The bottles were beautiful shades of light greens and blues, made even more attractive when the sun hit them.

Tiny sterling silver rounds are spaced between the green and blue rondelles, giving this necklace a floating look. A dozen Swarovski crystals provide some sunny sparkle.

"Kambaba" Necklace - $70.

"Kambaba" is a princess length necklace that features lots of kambaba jasper. I've given the smooth pendant a spiral wire twist that is set off nicely with sterling silver seamless rounds throughout the necklace.
Dozens of small rounds are sprinkled with 2 sizes of pillow beads - all kambaba jasper. About 20 Swarovski crystals (clear and jet) are set between the jasper to give it a little sparkle.
If you like an earthy mix of green and black, this is the stone for you!

"Plenty of Poppy" Necklace - $50. (SOLD)

"Plenty of Poppy" has a faceted teardrop pendant of red poppy jasper. I've used crackled beads and smooth rounds of various shades of red and burnt orange. Sterling silver seamless rounds are used throughout.

This is a princess length necklace.

"Mardi Gras" Bracelet - $60.

Each time I make a piece, I think it is my new favourite. Well, this "Mardi Gras" bracelet is my new favourite!
This is made with polymer clay beads that are rich in color and accented with a whopping 30 Swarovski bicone crystals in shades of fuchsia, emerald, purple velvet, sapphire and tanzanite. It is bold, sparkly and fun!
The polymer clay beads were made by Israeli bead artist Elena Bucharska.

"Pillow Talk" Bracelet - $50. (SOLD)

I call this bracelet Pillow Talk. It's made up of polymer clay pillow beads and 24 Swarovski bicone crystals that pick up all the colours of the beads with plenty of sparkle.

Sterling silver throughout, this gorgeous bracelet will look lovely on any wrist it graces!

"Plum Pizzazz" Lampwork Necklace - $90.

"Plum Pizzazz" features a dusty purple lampwork focal embellished with swirls and dots. There are 10 more lampwork beads in this piece that really set off the main focal.

Spaced throughout with rondelles, rectangular tubes and sterling silver rounds, this princess length necklace is perfect for purple lovers!

The focal bead was created by Colorado artist Melissa Vess.

"Bella" Necklace - $100.

This elegant princess length necklace has a dichroic glass pendant wrapped in sterling. (This is one of the nicest dichroic pendants I have ever seen!)

There are 25 Swarovski bicone crystals in this piece, and several opalescent beads, that make "Bella" a shimmering, eye-catching beauty. Two sizes of sterling silver rounds are spaced throughout.

(A note on the name: This is the kind of necklace I envision Edward giving to Bella. Twilight fans will understand!)

"Green Dream" Lampwork Necklace - $85.

Here is another princess length lampwork necklace featuring a deliciously dotted focal of greens.

This necklace really sparkles with 16 Swarovski crystals spaced throughout, lovely spangled rounds with drips of silver, multi-coloured green beads and sterling silver rounds.

The focal bead was created by Canadian lampwork artist Jeannie's Beads.

"Earth Blend" Lampwork Necklace - $100.

I love how this piece turned out!

This princess length lampwork necklace features a focal of various swirls and bubbles in rich earth tones. Spangled rounds splashed with silver complement the beauty of the focal.

"Marilyn's Ivory" Necklace

My friend, Laura Neadle, asked me to create a necklace using ivory pieces that were originally in a bracelet belonging to her mother.

The result was a princess length necklace with the ivory for focals, accented by seamless sterling rounds, multifaceted black beads and antiqued silver balls.

Beautiful!

Welcome!

My interest in jewelry design started a few years ago when a friend showed me how to make a bracelet. That little craft project led me to discover a new world of beads, glass, stones, metal, crystal and more delightful materials with which to work.
I make necklaces, earrings and bracelets, and will make a set of all three if desired. I only use sterling silver wire in my pieces.
I buy many of my beads directly from the artists who make them.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my jewelry! Each piece is one-of-a-kind and made with love for people who shine!
